June 2011 Speaking School attendees are invited to "stay after school" and take advantage of The Odd Couple Marketing and Strategy Seminar for Speakers, Consultants & Coaches, Saturday - Sunday, June 25 - 26, 2011. It is held in the same venue as the June 2011 Speaking School - the Platinum Hotel and Spa Las Vegas. Two days with Patricia Fripp and Alan Weiss, two giants in the professional speaking and consulting worlds. You will learn: latest ideas in marketing and strategy; how to attract and appeal to each economic buyer; what marketing collateral you need; web strategies that lead to unlimited prospects; how technology can position you ahead of the crowd and more. All registrants are asked to complete a pre-conference questionnaire. Please fill it out as completely as possible and return it promptly. How do I prepare for Fripp's Speaking & Presentation Skills School? A. Outline a short, specific presentation you are prepared to work on, AND download your Speaking School Workbook. To maximize your investment in Fripp's Speaking School, please come prepared to work on a short, specific presentation.You can define a presentation as it relates to you and the reason you registered for this event. Please come with your answers to these questions written down. You will receive an email directing you to an attendee-only page where you can access the event handouts and other materials. Please download and print the workbook, or download it to your iPad or laptop computer. If you are a registered attendee and have not received directions on how to access this attendee-only page, please contact us: pfripp@ix.netcom.com Q. Is there a cancellation policy? A. Yes, refunds for cancellation will be made on the following basis: full refund prior to 31 days before seminar. After 30 days prior to seminar, no refunds will be given. Instead, you will have a registration credit towards any of Fripp's seminars and services. Cancellations must be made via voicemail (415-753-6556) AND written message (email to: pfripp@ix.netcom.com / fax to: 415-753-0914); cancellations without both forms of notification will be treated as no-shows. No refunds or credits will be granted for no-shows. (After all, your mother taught you better manners.) Registration to Fripp's Speaking School is based on your acceptance of this cancellation policy. LOGISTICSQ. Where will Patricia Fripp's Presentation & Speaking Skills School take place? A. Fripp's June 24, 2011 Speaking School will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Platinum Hotel & Spa Las Vegas Q. What about hotel reservations? A. YOU are responsible for your hotel reservations. Hotel reservations are NOT included in your registration. For the June 2011 Speaking School in Las Vegas, NV - if you wish to stay at the event hotel it is: Patricia Fripp highly recommends the Platinum Hotel as they have wonderful suites. Another great lower-cost option, just next door is: You may stay elsewhere in the area, so make sure that you know the transportation and logistics to get you to the right place! Remember, YOU are responsible for your hotel reservations. Q. What about breakfast and lunch? A. Meals are not included. Network with your fellow attendees and enjoy lunch together. Each morning a menu from the hotel restaurant will be at your place. You can circle your lunch selection with beverage, add your name, room number, or credit card. We will collect the orders at the coffee break. Your lunch with other attendees will be ready when we finish for lunch. At past classes this has been very efficient. A. Coffee service will be provided both mornings. A. We suggest business casual -- comfortable business casual will help you feel good and get the most from these sessions! A. Bring plenty of notepads.
